OUR PROCESS 

CARBON FILTRATION

The first step in our purification process starts with water passing through our carbon filtration system. This carbon filtration system reduces contaminants such as lead or mercury in the water through high-volume carbon filters.

ULTRAVIOLET FILTRATION 

The next step in the process is our ultraviolet system. This will destroy 99.99% of harmful micro-organisms and bacteria without adding chemicals or changing your water’s taste or odor.

WATER SOFTENING

Next the water passes through a Water Softening system. By reducing contaminants associated with hard water such as calcium, magnesium, iron, copper and lead, you can reduce the unsightly negative side effects of hard water.

DISTILLATION

Our Azurique Beverage Chill is purified one step further. Distilling water removes any remaining contaminants to give a final high purity water. Distillation involves boiling the water and then condensing the steam back into water.

INTERNATIONAL PACKAGED ICE ASSOCIATION

Ice contamination is a serious public health concern. Our ice is IPIA certified to provide retailers and consumers with safe, high-quality ice. IPIA members recognize that ice if food and meet mandatory safe packaged ice accreditation standards.

 

PRODUCT TESTING

Ice must be monitored just like any other food to guarantee it is safe to consume. Our ice is tested weekly instead of monthly or annually as required.
